June 3, 2026—Brithem founding partner Lauren Tabaksblat has been selected for Forbes’ inaugural “America’s Top Women Lawyers” list, which recognizes attorneys who have excelled in their practice areas, earned the trust of clients and colleagues alike, and broken new ground in the legal profession.
In addition to her inclusion on the list, Lauren was among a select group of eight honorees invited to participate in an accompanying roundtable discussion touching on how AI is reshaping legal practice, the qualities clients prize in outside counsel, and the path for women to reach the highest levels of the profession.
A founder of Brithem and nationally recognized litigator, Lauren has built her practice around the most complex, high-stakes commercial disputes, representing publicly traded companies, private corporations, and high-net-worth individuals in state and federal courts and arbitrations across the country. Lauren’s work has drawn significant national attention, including her role as lead counsel in Fleites v. MindGeek, a groundbreaking action in which she represents more than 200 survivors of sexual abuse in claims against the world’s dominant online pornography provider and Visa.
For her litigation successes, Lauren has received several high-profile accolades, including recognition as a leading lawyer by Chambers, Legal 500, Benchmark Litigation, and Lawdragon, a Litigation Trailblazer by The National Law Journal, a Notable Woman in Law by Crain’s New York Business, and a Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal.
