February 27, 2026—Brithem founding partner Lauren Tabaksblat has been selected for Crain’s New York Business’ 2026 Notable Women in Law award, which honors outstanding female lawyers practicing in the New York City metropolitan area for their professional excellence as well as their civic and philanthropic contributions.
A co-founder of Brithem and nationally recognized litigator, Lauren advises clients through all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation investigations through trial and appeal, often in bet-the-company matters. She regularly represents publicly traded companies, private corporations, and high-net-worth individuals in complex disputes in state and federal courts and arbitrations across the country, on both the plaintiff and defense side.
Lauren’s work has drawn significant national attention, including her role as lead counsel in Fleites v. MindGeek, a groundbreaking action in which she represents more than 200 survivors of sexual abuse in claims against the world’s dominant online pornography provider and Visa.
