Impact Matters
Appellate win in record time
For electrical utility company, Alex served on a team that won the dismissal on summary judgment of a $150 million case for alleged misuse of trade secrets and other claims. On appeal to the Fifth Circuit, Alex’s team again represented the electrical utility company. Less than 30 hours after oral argument, the appellate court issued an emphatic decision affirming their total victory in the nine-figure case.
Overall Experience
Alex has also represented:
- An auction company in connection with a criminal antitrust investigation by the Department of Justice, which was closed without any criminal charges.
- An Australian company in a FINRA arbitration and subsequent Southern District of New York litigation, where his team successfully opposed a motion to set aside the arbitration ruling denying the opposing party’s request for attorneys’ fees.
